Chesapeake Montessori School depends on annual giving in order to operate our programs and evolve at a level of excellence that is known across the Annapolis area, as well as the larger Montessori community. Our tuition revenue alone does not cover the costs we incur while operating at this level.
Year in and year out, we aim to maintain beautiful, impeccable environments. We employ highly qualified staff, offer equitable and competitive salaries, perform maintenance care for our buildings and systems, and become more sophisticated in our operations all while keeping tuition rates as low as possible. As we mature as a school, we are also increasingly reliant on annual gifts in order to meet our financial obligations. This is a reality for every independent school.
