As Chesapeake Montessori School enters its 48th year, we stand at an important moment in our journey: looking back with gratitude, moving forward with purpose, and intentionally charting the course toward our 50th anniversary. We need your help to steer our school’s path forward.
The “Charting Our Course” Annual Campaign reflects the dynamic nature of a voyage we all share in – our community is uniquely and steadfastly committed to supporting healthy development in children and adolescents. It’s hard becoming an adult, and we exist to support the process for young children at 18-months old all the way to teenagers at 15 years old. We help children get to a different place in their lives, a place where they arrive with the tools, skills, self-confidence, and knowledge they will need to be good, responsible, and contributing citizens.
We ask that you please give to CMS and support this important campaign – take part in our forward direction as we approach our 50th anniversary and help us honor our history, strengthen our community, and secure the promise of Montessori education for generations to come.
The Annual Fund is the primary fundraising initiative at Chesapeake Montessori School. This fund goes directly toward supporting our students and sustaining the strength of our school by:
- Expanding tuition assistance
- Providing professional development for teachers
- Strengthening reserve funds
- Keeping tuition accessible for families
- Preparing for emergencies and unexpected needs
As an independent, non-profit school, CMS depends on the generosity of our community to ensure excellence in these areas.
Our 2025-2026 Annual Fund campaign, “Charting Our Course,” launches October 8 and runs through December 31, 2025. While the campaign concludes at the end of the calendar year, gifts are welcome any time until the fund officially closes on June 30, 2026.
Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a meaningful impact and helps chart a bright future for CMS. Each gift to the Annual Fund strengthens opportunities for our students today and in the years to come.
