The first step in the admissions process is to submit our Online Inquiry. You will then be invited for an in-person, outdoor tour of campus with the admissions director. Tours offer adults the chance to learn about Montessori in general and about the authentic Montessori principles that we practice each day at CMS.

We invite you to visit the Adolescent Program at Chesapeake Montessori School. You will meet Erin Foley, Adolescent Program Director, and learn more about why we utilize a land and project-based model to guide the adolescents’ journey toward adulthood.

During the tour we will explore topics including: the idea of the farm and the adults as the materials in a Montessori Adolescent Program; why Montessori is as relevant as ever in a changing world; and how CMS prepares scholars for high school. This virtual tour is the first step in our Adolescent Program admissions process and is for adults only.
