Brandie Martensson

Brandie has taught children for many years in a variety of capacities. Prior to coming to CMS, she was a forest school teacher. She taught completely outdoor preschool classes in the middle of the forest and started a chapter of a local forest school program on the Eastern Shore. Even though she doesn’t enjoy camping, she does enjoy exploring the forest and checking under logs for bugs with children! She also spent several years working in special education classrooms with a focus on children on the Autism Spectrum with Sensory Processing Disorders.
Brandie loves playing volleyball and has played for over 20 years. She has coached all levels, from middle school up to varsity. She also has a love of animals and hopes to one day open a “free-range” rescue for dogs. When not at school, Brandie spends time with her three boys, who all attend CMS.
